Almost ready to go

The view from the bed/sofa past dinette and kitchen
 to bathroom.
It has a full stove as well as a microwave,
and the two dark glass doors below bench level
are a fridge and a freezer.

John arrived a few days ago and we have been very busy sorting out just what we need to take with us when we leave on Friday.

There's a place for everything . . . and just about everything is now in place.

Thanks to Chris, John's son-in-law, there are plenty of electronic controls and gizmos. There are even three colour choices for the LED lighting above the cupboards (see pic left). A flat-screen TV comes out of the dinette seat back (lower right in pic) for our entertainment . . . when we're not sitting outside under the roll-out awning, glasses of red in our hands, enjoying Australia.

The preparation is nearly done

This was the first outing in the motor home, built on the chassis of a 4WD Isuzu truck. It was not fitted out inside when we 'camped' in it at Cessnock in February, to attend a Rod Stewart concert in the Hunter Valley. The photo on the rear drew much attention from people at the caravan park as it was taken by John some years ago on the Nullarbor, close to the SA/WA border.
We plan to leave on June 1 for places north, returning in August.
